Mountain Fair

This hike visits one of the most physically impressive mountains in the South District of Shenandoah: Trayfoot Mountain. One interesting point that he makes is that a middle-class black family, who are constantly trying to be as ‘white’ as possible, will have a harder time becoming a great artist or poet. Sometimes I just feel like a brainless hike up a hill with no route finding, treacherous terrain or precarious precipices. The view is rather limited, but still worthwhile as it yields a unique view of Neighbor Mountain. When I say the world stopped, I mean that I have a very strange relationship to time now.
