At the last set of trees (and therefore last shade), we made our sandwiches and enjoyed a leisurely lunch in the cool, by a small stream. The weather took an unexpected turn for the better and we lunched outside at The Cottage with pressies, before strolling into the slate quarry for the third time this week, in search of more classic climbs.
